| - I've eaten at Casbah several times, each of which have been wonderful experiences. The menu is varied in flavors and and ingredients, allowing customers to pick both intricately spiced, more exotic dishes, or plainer more traditional dishes. Any pallet can find something great here. I usually order the Long Island Duck or the Pork Chop. Wholesome, well plated, and delicious. Desserts are yummy, and the coffee is fantastic. I drink it black.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively yet relaxed, the heated patio area gives a warm Mediterranean feel, even in the coldest winters of Pittsburgh. Downstairs seating is spacious and ideal for larger parties: a great choice for a graduation meal!
My family and I tend to eat here, and we always have great waiters. Able to answer our questions, and talk naturally and passionately about the items served on their menu. My mom is very picky with her wine and meal specifications, and they always handle her with grace and respect. Casbah is a wonderful choice for a fancier evening, with no distasteful posh to follow.
