  • I have never written a yelp review before but am on a high from how awesome these guys are so am giving it a whirl. I went here on recommendation from my sister, who loved them when they were called "The Saloon". I have bounced around salon to salon trying to find one I like, with pretty crappy results. But, I am pleased to report, this place is fab. Really cute look and feel, and very friendly, attentive staff. Reasonably priced too. And, great location. I have never dyed my hair before and was totally freaked out about it. I have a wedding coming up, and a boatload of grey hairs creeping in, so I wanted to test the waters of hair colouring. Mark was AMAZING. He explained things as he went and worked with me to make sure I would be comfortable and happy with everything. He also gave me a great cut and respected that I wanted to keep as much length as possible, except now my hair has a great shape to it too. I am so stoked with the end result and he definitely listened to what I wanted. He was super friendly and funny and awesome. Weeeeee, I am just so happy. :) Probably not surprisingly, this place is pretty hipster so if you don't want to overhear snippets like "kids these days are so lame for wearing the gap" then it might not be for you. I personally thought everyone was really approachable and awesome, but just wanted to throw that out there. They are definitely catering more to the young, urban, hip crowd, not... my mom, for example. (love you mom) Bottom line: this place is awesome, well-priced, and great staff. Boom.
