  • What a difference less than two weeks makes. This review took my stars from five to one. Not that the parks have so quickly gone to seed, but for administrative decisions. I extolled the area around the marina in Lakewood. This morning rather than finding all the benches occupied by old men fishing with an unobstructed view of the flowing river traffic I found a No Fishing sign and new boat docks. No one but me and a resting biker sat at this location viewing the new boat parking lot. Taking away from the numerous lower middle class to give to the privileged few has no place in a public park. Shame on the Cleveland Metroparks administrators. I hope your grandfathers who fished here for years take you all over their knees and spank the mean spirits out of you.
