I am new the chair of a condo in Crescent Heights and up until almost a year ago we had nothing but problems with Envision and were very unhappy with the service provided. They were originally assigned by court order just prior to our purchase about 4 yrs ago. Several owners had problems and were frustrated with the particular manager of the building at that time, and how he dealt with their individual issues. It felt that they were not working in our best interests, there was question that services we were paying for were not being rendered properly if at all and we were double charged for other services. We were told misinformation that possibly cost more than it should for some items. If work had been done, the manager would sign off and pay without checking to make sure it was done properly. At a meeting without even realizing, he even let it slip that he hadnt been in our building for almost 18 months. We were at the point that we were looking at firing them and going with another company.
A few months ago by coincidence their previous manager went on to other things and one of their office personnel, Tom, took over as our new manager. He seemed to genuinely care about what was happening to our building and finances. So far, he has succeeded in changing our opinion of Envision, and to date has done a phenomenal job at getting things done. He is proactive, reactive and in constant communication with myself and the board. He will help us look for contractors / quotes to help our operating costs and has managed to help us get reimbursed for double charges etc. He offers his opinion and I tend to trust and believe what he says is in our best interest. I believe he personally takes pride in his reputation and about making a better impression than what we had of this company. From what I have seen he has been upfront and dealt with integrity so I really hope he continues to operate the way he has been. It has been a relief because it was so stressful trying to deal with the issues in our building and having a management company that didnt really seem to care except about their management fees. If anything changes then I will repost my review so fingers crossed, but I think we have a winner in Tom.
