The fact that you have to park across the street in a parking garage ($14 per day) is a slight inconvenience but the hotel is located in the heart of downtown so it's expected. On the other hand the fact that it is in the heart of downtown is one of the best features. You are a walking distance to everything. We stayed here for a mini staycation and attended a concert at the Talking Stick Resort Arena which was only 2 blocks away.
Check in was a breeze and had no issues (there is a $50 deposit for incidentals), I told them I would be checking out late but before 2 p.m. (late check out here is complimentary as long as it's not after 2, just make sure to double check when inquiring about it) . This was awesome because after a long night out we really wanted to sleep in a bit and not worry about rushing out of the room. Our room was located on the 17th floor and we had a pretty cool view of east phoenix, minus some roof tops that ruined the view. Nothing fancy but the room did its job. The bed, bathroom and room was clean. The safe and mini fridge were located in the entertainment system under the tv so it got rid of unnecessary clutter in the room. The shower was a bathtub/shower combo and the shower head had a nice strong water pressure which was nice to have. They also have a cool restaurant at the top of the hotel that rotates and offers awesome views which is something we didn't get to see this time. I didn't hear any noise from the floors or rooms around us so it seems the walls do a good job of holding in noise, this hotel is on the top of our list whenever we are looking to stay in the downtown area again.
EDIT: my girlfriend was having a real hard time using their 1 mirror in the bathroom to get ready because the sink was huge and didn't allow her to get close to the mirror. She wanted me to mention it in the review but it's not the hotel's fault she stands at a tall height of 5 feet lol. If anyone else encounters this issue we found out later that you can call down to room service and borrow or buy a zoom in makeup mirror (they will bring it up to your room), along with other things that are listed in a sheet that should be located on a desk in the room.
