  • My issue with this store isn't its selection, prices, or service. It's their hours. This store is in a shopping center where most stores are open by 9am. Its two neighbors - a craft store and a home goods store both open at 9am. This store doesn't open 'til 10am. On a Saturday in Phoenix in the summer, people are trying to get their errands done before it gets too hot. I shared my displeasure with their late hours on Twitter and the company responded that all stores open at 10am on Saturdays - not a good way to show that the company cares about local norms. Hat tip to the customer service at Famous Footwear. I frequently encounter clerks who try to maximize the discount for me.
