It's tasty, but it's not as good as New York, and given that the mighty Boustan is 2 blocks away, I'd say this place won't be successful for long. Their prices are far too high. In New York, the meat is succulent, freshly grilled, and chopped up before being put on the plate. In Montreal, the employee scooped up pre-cooked meat from a heated container on the counter. Also the rice is not as good as in New York. It is undercooked. Go to NYC for the real thing. It is so good you can cry. If I'm near Concordia in Montreal, I'n going to Boustan. For 10$, you eat like a king and everything is beyond fresh. You can really tell when food is prepared with love.
