  • I had used safelite a couple of years ago and was impressed. Therefore when I needed a windshield replaced again, I again called them. WHAT A MISTAKE! This has been the worst experience. Initially, after scheduling a replacement and rearranging my schedule to accommodate their broad time of arrival-the technician showed up prepared only to repair NOT replace the windshield. He said he did not have the windshield and would have to order it and it would be here in 2 days. Two days later, the tech shows up but now with the wrong windshield. He apologizes and says the correct windshield is on its way from the warehouse and he will be back to install it later. I later call him as I have not heard anything and he says that the windshield will not arrive today and wants to schedule for tomorrow. He also says his manager was supposed to call but as yet hasn't gotten around to it. Very unprofessional and very different from my first experience. Would not recommend this company unless you have a lot of free time to waste waiting for them to get their act together.
