Dr Michael Maher was sadly recommended to me so I chose him when I was brand-new in townhouse be my cardiologist as I move to Scottsdale and suddenly found that I had a failed aortic valve and had to have open heart surgery. As a single woman this was a frightening situation and I was counting on Dr. Maher to illuminate the path for me. No I've been spoiled and treated that places like the Cleveland clinic Johns Hopkins University so I do understand the process of dealing with high level of care. But sadly Dr. Maher was almost nonexistent to check on me when I was in the hospital after my surgery Dr. Maher made a mistake two different times on my medication the second time bounce me back in the hospital for four days. Even with my prescription records he prescribed the wrong dose of a drug two times the second time it's not my blood pressure to over 250 when I'm normally 100/60 very nearly landed me in the hospital a third time. I'm writing this review today because I went to his office having not gotten a phone call back from one of the physician assistance on a Friday afternoon I had to consult with another doctor I came all the way out for my appointment today only to be turned away without even a courtesy call. This is been the most despicable treatment ever from the doctor in my entire life and the lack of common courtesy disregard that can actually kill someone anyone that's looking at him as a doctor or their practice needs to look under the hood kick the tires and find out for yourself. This whole experience was dangerous so please be wise. I feel like it's my responsibility to let people know.
