Called and spoke to Nick about some furniture pricing, he gave me good prices over the phone and said if I come in that day he may be able to do better especially if I get the protection package. I went in, picked out the furniture and was happy with the pricing. He ended up not being able to honor the first price he gave me but still gave me a good price. The sectional was fairly new so would take a few weeks. Most of the issues I had are out of the hands of the actual store. My deliveries kept getting pushed back. The store was nice enough to give me a small credit back and take care of delivery charge.
The furniture finally got delivered at 7am first thing in the morning. We had been dealing with trying to get furniture for almost 2 months at that point so the wife signed for it. Upon inspection we found several stains on the chairs, the tops had looked dirty as if they were floor models that had been pushed in and out numerous times and parts of cushion collapsed from what appeared to be strapping them into the delivery truck.
I called the store and they put in a service request through the protection package I purchased. I couldn't exchange them or send them back since my wife signed for them due to Ashleys no return policy. The service date was almost 2 weeks away and once the day came they had to reschedule because the tech called in sick. Another two weeks go by and they came and removed the stains. He told me he couldn't do anything about the indentations from the straps. I expressed my concerns and he was able to schedule for the one chair to be exchanged. Still waiting to figure out how long that will take but Im not counting on it being anytime soon.
Overall I am very disappointed in Ashley furniture and the way the business operates. Also be sure and read the protection package contract, I really don't think it is worth it and would not recommend it to anyone except for the fact that if you sign for furniture and the delivery people stain it you will be out of luck.
