Very swank place, I love the communal tables, it makes the place non pretentious and chill. It would be nicer if the people that sat with you were friendly - ours weren't. We see you staring at our food, and we're looking at yours too - might as well be friendly right?
I love small plates as it allows you to try a bunch of stuff versus just eating 1-2 things. Their food is contemporary and I love the flavor combos. It freaks you out at first but once you bite down it's sensory overload. The main courses were solid and perfectly portioned. They had a great wine list and the cocktails were awesome!
My only complaint? That chalkboard gets hard to read, so it would be nice if they could provide the table with some sort of menu. I have eyes like a hawk - thanks Lasik! - but I still had trouble reading some of the things on the far end of the board due to the low lighting and the chalk dust on the board.
Definitely will come back when I'm in town.
