| - I survived college partially on a diet of strawberry-nutella crepes, so I wanted to give this place a shot. I went for Brunch by myself on a Sunday and it was a pretty mixed bag. I might have been more forgiving if they opened pretty recently...?
Pros:
1. I snagged a spot in the garage behind the building - there are some reserved spots for this restaurant specifically, for one hour.
2. I immediately got seated outside, and when the sun came out (and some other people left) they indulged my request to move to another table under 1 of their 2 umbrellas.
3. Due to their slow service, they brought me a side of fruit and didn't charge me for my tea (I happened to notice it on my check, they didn't point it out to me).
4. I had the Apple Streusel Crêpes and it was DELICIOUS. Seriously. The chocolate covered strawberry was a bonus, but I housed that whole freaking thing. It was a meal in & of itself.
Cons:
1. I sat for 10+ minutes before I was approached by a waitress. My entire meal (1 savory crepe for 1 person + iced tea) took 1.5 hours. I don't know if they're not used to having an outside section since it's been rainy? I assume they're the same level of busy every Sunday.
2. My waitress, Ariel, was not at all friendly. I wouldn't go as far as rude, and I would love to make an excuse for her as it seemed hectic, but I never got told the specials, had to ask for tea refills, and generally felt like I was putting her out somehow.
Overall, I would go back to explore more of their menu, but probably not sitting outside (which sucks, I love to bring my dog and eat outside).
I have heard a few other comments from friends (which put the craving in my head!) that some of the menu items are definitely misses. Mine was hit so it gets 3 stars!
