  • Did we enjoy living here? Yes. There are a few issues that you need to be aware of before signing a lease here. 1) The Cat problem. They have had this issue for over a year and sometimes get ahead of it but at times not. Various places on the property smell like stale cat urine. 2) Their billing system. They switched upon new ownership. The bill we kept getting month over month was 100% incorrect. The front office manager kept correcting it but the problem kept coming back. It got to the point that same person has to physically sign our bill and tell us how much to pay due to their errors. 3) James the new assistant manager clearly doesn't know what management is or what it looks likes. We moved in April. The final bill we got seemed wrong. Even James couldn't properly explain it and noticed our file looked crazy as far as billing was concerned. So he promised to get it researched and to follow up. He did 50%. Apparently he did in fact have it researched but then NEVER bothered to tell us the end result. My wife called and left a voicemail. No response. So today I call and get James on the phone. He casually tells me the bill is legit. That's it. No reasoning. No logic. Just that it's correct. He then offers to send me the explanation he received but when it came time to give him my email address James kept insisting on talking while I was attempting to give him my email then proceeded to tell me how he couldn't hear me. Let me repeat that. While I was trying to give him my email he kept repeating everything I said which made it so that he could not hear the next thing I was saying and somehow that was my fault. We both got frustrated so I told him I am trying to give him my email but he keeps interrupting. He laughed. Not once. Twice. Even after I calmly asked if he seriously just laughed at me, the customer, he ignored my questions and basically said if I wanted his help I would have to be the one to cooperate and he said this in a very non-customer centric way. I advised I would be contact his corporate office due to his laughing to which he encouraged if almost as if it would be a wast of my time because he would receive no fallback from laughing at a customer. Is this what you want to be obligated to for the duration of your lease? The managing company likes to switch its employees around so no one remembers anything promised to you and so no one can be held accountable to what other representatives have said or promised. The property itself is great. However, be mindful of this managing company. This isn't the first time they've had a good time screwing me in particular over.
