I've never taken any classes here but I have been quite a few times for cardio & weights...
The machines could use some updating - some are outdated and squeaky at times. However, they do have a couple of machines that other locations do not have so that's nice. I do like the setup, though.
This isn't my "home location" but if I lived nearby and this had to be my primary gym, I'd probably choose to go to another newer gym chain not too far up the road.. especially with the price difference.
There's hardly ever anyone at the front. In fact, out of the five or so times I've been over the past 8 months, there hasn't been a greeter one single time. Ive only been on "off times" - mostly weekends in the afternoon/evenings so maybe it's different when there are a a lot of people going in & out. I guess that's not a huge deal but I know Mountainside kind of prides themselves on the customer service and some guests may enjoy being greeted and having someone at the front the check them in.
