  • avalon is worth a walk through every few months, but their mens section is pretty sad. i typically find that half the stuff is pretty bad, and the rest is too expensive for what it is. don't get me wrong, i've bought some cool stuff here, and also traded clothes in a few times - avalon is good, not great. overall i preferred the older oakland location - they had more merchandise, seemed to be more up on the trends, and the employees were way more friendly (which i guess means they acknowledged you).
