  • A good mechanic, that you feel you can trust can be hard to find. But you will find just that in Jimmy. Jimmy's On-It Automotive was the best experience I've had with a mechanic since I stopped driving 3 hours round-trip to use "My Guy" from back home. This whole place is just Jimmy and his wife, and they are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The place doesn't look like much, but Jimmy knows his stuff, and you can tell he and his wife are very family oriented. They have a small loung with pictures of their family on the walls, and a large bay that can hold many cars. When I pulled around back (where the garage is, behind an old shutdown beer distributor) Jimmy wandered out, said hello and introduced himself to me. He was doing my state inspection and he was really helpful. I was worried he might be one of those mechanics who tries to convince you to get more work done than you need, but after about 20 minutes he told me everything looked great, and his only note was the rear tires are good, but will probably need to be replaced... and his wife recommended a good shop for that work! All in all, I felt Jimmy was really honest and cheerful and I will definitely take my car back here!
