  • when my usual nail salon couldn't get me in last minute, I turned to xl nails as I've passed them many times and they're nearby. I easily made an appt. when I showed up, i walked in and one worker was sitting in the customer waiting area eating rice- not exactly a welcoming/hygienic thing to walk into. she told me to pick my color and then I made my way to the pedicure stations. nice chairs, not dirty but definitely not tidy. there were buckets and rags all over, with cleaning supplies in clear view. my pedicure, which was very thorough, turned out very nice and I felt well pampered, slot high she was a bit rough with taking the dry skin off my feet. my manicure was also incredibly thorough and well done and I love it. my complaint about this place is that the ladies are completely pressuring on spending money. they keep adding to the price, I even had to pay 5$ for a sea salt scrub! I just felt very pressured to spend more money than I had hoped. other than that, and the few tidiness issues, I was pretty happy and may return in the future.
