My hubby was being sweet and bought 6 macarons for me as a surprise. He chose the Ruelo, Yuzu, Pistachio, Green tea black sesame, espresso and the creme brûlée. The macaron shells texture were too soggy and did appear under baked. Also they're a lot smaller in comparison to the likes of Butter Avenue or Nadege. However, I will give them points for overall flavour, especially the creme brûlée. The macarons are also more costlier ranging in price from $2.75 to $3.00 each. If I'm paying that much, then in return I'm expecting a better product then what Ruelo is capable of offering.
