  • Since familiarizing myself with various neighborhoods in Phoenix for my work, I've quickly learned that there are two types of Circle K stores. First, are those that are attempting to be carbon copies of QT. They're clean, they're inviting, and they're big. And then there's locations like this one - unkempt and sketchy convenience stores that have poorly maintained gas pumps, reek of cigarette smoke indoors, and have rude employees that rarely acknowledge that you even exist. I've stopped by here several times and am quickly reminded of why QT is always crowded and Circle K isn't. The employees all clearly hate their job and it shows. None seem to have any manners whatsoever. I was a bit taken back when I said "thanks" and "have a good day!" - only to hear zero acknowledgement. Wow. Until they do an overhaul on all of their locations (which is unlikely) and train their staff in basic customer service that any 16 year-old can learn, I don't find myself being able to say anything positive about Circle K. I'm not sure how they operate in other cities, but in Phoenix, Circle K has kind of went the same route as 7-11. They're just so out of touch with reality that, rather than brand name recognition alone, there isn't much they have to offer. Avoid them.
