  • Needed a hotel for several hours as we had to check out of our stay at the Marriott and needed to be close to the airport. So I found this motel online via travolocity and the price was right. The front desk agent was very nice/friendly. My husband and I asked for a non-smoking room and the room we got smelled like there was a vent from the smoking rooms that directly linked to our room. It was awful!!!. I advised the front desk staff and she sent someone to the room who sprayed frebreeze and I guess that was suppose to get rid of the smell for the whole rest of our stay. I even went to Walmart about 5 miles away and purchased a plug in and it did not help much. The room reaked of cigarette smoke. Thank goddness we were only there for 12 hours. The room was okay cleanliness wise I did notice the counter in the bathroom was not wiped down and the stopper in the bathroom was filthy. I love the commercials, but will not be staying at a Motel ,. Especially if they allow smoking. I will pay extra for a hotel next time. You get what you pay for.
