Overrated, Overpriced, Underservice. OK they have a couple of interesting mini-loaves and desert breads - I particularly liked the Taro Knot - the Earl Grey Flute is not my thing but I give them credit for creativity.
However most of the buns & tarts are the same things you find in ANY Chinese bakery for half or one third the price (eg. over $3 for a hotdog bun or Raisin Twist that usually goes for $0.90 - $1.25, and so on) Give me a break!
But what really gets to me is the service model. Line ups & wait times are horrible. Usually only one person on a cash while 2nd or 3rd available person stands idle. Seems like every day at least one person is getting trained at customer's expense. Transactions take forever because of obviously enforced up-selling and unnecessary questions(...and would you like a second bag?) for things people would have asked for if they wanted them! When customer orders a Latte usually only one staff member knows how to work the machine and everyone has to wait for him/her to come and finish that order while the line grows. Just unacceptable experience for what they charge.
I don't mean to bash the staff, they seem to be nice kids doing their best with inadequate training, bad management and a poor service concept from the company.
