DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!
I purchased a Kia Sportage a year and a half ago. The sales experience was difficult at best and took 5 hours. I paid cash for the car and it still took 5 hours.
When I was given the key to the car, the sales rep stated there was no secondary key - valet key and promised to find or get a new key for me. This never occurred. I made multiple calls and at every service tried to get the key, but no one would get me a key. They called me a liar and that I had lost the key and was just trying to get a new one. This is not true as upon purchase of the car there was no key. A year and half later, nothing!
I have since sent a letter of complaint to Kia Motors Headquarters Orange County. They state that they have nothing to do with any dealership and are a completely separate entity, however they did call the dealership and between two customer relations persons, Amy & Jason, neither could make the dealership obtain a key. Upon the last call from Jason he stated the dealership told him, I, the customer, waited to long to obtain the key. I told Jason this is a blatant lie and that I'd been trying to obtain the key since day one. I went on to state that the last year and a half dealing with this issue had caused me emotional and physical distress. He laughed at me. I told him it wasn't funny. He said there was nothing he could do.
Funny how a mutli-billion dollar company cannot obtain a $5 valet key for it's customer, BUT THAT KEY WILL COST ME $150. Amazing how both the dealership and Kia Headquarters can belittle the customer, call him a liar and resolve absolutely nothing and remain in business.
My advice is to stay away from Kia Motors as a whole. The headquarters will not stand behind it's cars or dealerships as they are a complete separate entity.
