  • For reasons which I will not explain, I will be very "guarded" with my wording of this review.... I went to American Male (both Las Vegas locations) for a number of years. The franchise *idea* of "American Male" is an awesome concept! What "American Male" doesn't love ... - massage chairs and video games in the waiting area? - televisions and music in the salon? - getting his hair shampooed - a hot towel on his face - his hands dipped in paraffin - most importantly, a really good hair cut? The *idea* of the "American Male" concept is enough to send many American males into salon-Heaven (I almost wrote "orgasm"). The concept is great!! BUT (there's always a but).... No matter how fancy the salon, no matter how many amenities they offer, the bottom line is ... it's all about the stylist. If you find a good one, keep her.
