| - Bliss. Pure, absolute and total bliss. Ahhhhhhmazing
I requested an appointment online, where you pick 3 different times, and was called back very shortly after submitting it to confirm. Easily made an appointment.
The other 5-star reviews mirror my experience. It's in a random white building that looks like it is just an eye place (directly across Carmel from Char Bar). Parking was easy. Signs on and in the building will guide you to Nature's Spa.
I was greeted immediately at the front desk (Jenna? I am so sorry... I think I left a bit scatter-brained from being so happy) and as a first time visitor, filled out a form asking about preferences, allergies, medical conditions, etc. The space is calming and just... very ahhhhhh.
Minutes after my paperwork was done, and a little before my appointment time, Rafael (hopefully I am spelling that correctly) let me know that he would be doing my massage for me. He is my new favorite man. My 60 minute massage was amazing. The bed you are on is like laying on a warm cloud, there was Enya-ish music playing (that can be changed or turned down/off). The only time he spoke, breaking my drooling trance of HELL YASSSS, was to see if I was okay and if the pressure was good. I heart him. Big time. I booked my next appointment before I left that day.
My facial was done by Sarah. She asked some questions about my skin type and returned with a regimen for me. She explained what she was doing and the types products she was using. I had never had a facial before, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but my face was amazing when I left, not a bump or blemish to be seen. Several masks and cleanses (though I think my favorite part was probably the easiest part with tea bags on my eyes) that all smelled wonderful. All very calming. Scalp, arm and hand massages. There was a portion where my face felt like it was on fire, but she had told me before applying it that there would be some tingling. It all worked out in the end. When I was checking out, she showed me the products that were used, but there was definitely not a hard sell at all, just some recommendations. I will likely return to purchase the trial kit that she showed me once I run out of my current over-priced, under-performing skin care products.
Their website has options and pricing for all of their services. I found prices for the services to be in-line or slightly less than the area spas. I cannot wait until my next massage (and another facial around Christmas time).
