| - We had to leave our furry babies for 2 weeks as we went on an international vacation. Leaving them for that length of time for so long was hard enough, not to mention costly, but to be able to leave them in capable hands helps tremendously.
We chose to go with W&W not because they were the most affordable, but because we really felt they genuinely cared for the animals, and that our 4-legged family members will be well cared for.
THE PLACE: Deceivingly small from the front when you first drive into the strip mall, but they actually have a pretty good space that is very well maintained. The reception is to the right, where you will also see the grooming area. To the left are the kennels. First thing we noticed about the space (no appointment, just dropped by) is how clean despite the numerous dogs they had in their care. Tammy, the co-owner willingly gave us a tour of the kennels, and outside play area. Dog kennels are super safe; nothing made of wire nor does it have any handles where your pooch's paw can get caught or have an accidental break-free. They have their own shelves where you can keep your dog's things.
Play area is rather spacious and they have big rocks on the ground instead of tiny gravel that becomes a problem for little dogs.
Impressive, cameras all over the kennels. Tammy and Howard have access to view the space anytime and get alerts from their phones. So although the dogs are by themselves in the evening, they are not completely alone as they are still being monitored. Not sure of any other other kennel that does that, even the big chain ones.
THE SERVICE: They don't let ALL the dogs play at the same time, they bring them out in small groups and they are all monitored closely. If you prefer your furry friend to have play time privately, they do offer that as well. This location is absolutely excellent when it comes to this, play time is included in the price. And they let them out several times a day too, standing by the phrase a tired dog is a happy dog. We have 2 dogs with different levels of energy and ability to stand heat. 1 absolutely loves to bake in the sun, while the other can easily over heat, but it was no trouble as they catered to each dogs individual need.
We were worried we would come home to sad and depressed dogs, but it was the exact opposite. I get the sense they really enjoyed their stay and just adored the staff. Our little one, which is our newest pup, bloomed during his stay, being less fearful and playing with other dogs. NOT TO MENTION, the play bite has been replaced with licks. Got a lil bit of training too :)
GROOMING: Our babies came out looking absolutely beautiful. Fur so soft and clean. And our fluffy pooch now has such a fabulous summer cut. And our BT, they gave her a little mani pedi complete with glittered to paw nails. So cute!
A BIG THANK YOU to Tammy, Howard and the Wiggles and Wags team for taking such great care of our babies. Definitely coming back for future grooming, boarding and training needs.
