| - This Four Seasons hotel has one of the more modern feel than some other four seasons we've been to. We stayed here with parents for two nights in the summer.. Staff was friendly and responsive, concierge helped us make dinner reservation at a restaurant nearby. The room we had was on a high floor, spacious, clean, with a big bathroom and soaking tub. I'm not familiar with Toronto but I think the location in Yorkville was pretty convenient, with lots of shops and restaurant nearby, but the hotel itself didn't feel crowded at all. For two nights in a row we also grabbed drinks at the bar downstairs, they had some very friendly bartender and great cocktails.
We had our dog with us, he got some doggy treat on the house. The only minor problem we had was that when we made reservation here, they told us dog stays free. Upon checking out, they charged us $100 or $150 cleaning fee and told us "dogs do stay free, but there's non-refundable cleaning fee". We were confused - if there were a fee, how would that qualify as "free"? Not that matters in the bigger picture since we still liked this hotel a lot, but someone needs to make sure this type of miscommunication doesn't happen.
Overall, great experience, highly recommended.
