| - Yuki's is my favourite bakery in Montreal.
It's small, cute and quite the hidden gem on Sherbrooke street. They have a great selection of cookies, cupcakes, cake, scones, brownies, cake pops, etc.
One word to describe their desserts is MOIST and RICH! I've had a slice of the mocha, english toffee cake; absolutely lovely. I believe it's somewhere between $4-5 for a slice. Not a bad price considering the sweet-rush I get after taking a bite of one of these babies. I've also had a slice of their chocolate cake at a friend's birthday party. I was fooled by the fondant and fancy decorating. I thought maybe the cute decoration was trying to make up for the quality of the cake.
I was proven wrong. Again, simply heavenly. If you have a special occasion and you're not down to slave away in the kitchen, order a cake from Yuki's.
I should also mention there are a few tables in the back where you can sit down and enjoy your dessert. I'm not sure how busy it is during the day, but I like to go in the evening. Yuki's is open till about 8 or 9pm.
My friends have had the devil's chocolate cupcake, earl grey scone, green tea mousse and lemon cake-- All of them winners.
