  • This review is for the service department only. We've always had a good experience with the salespeople. We just had a terrible experience at the Findlay Service Department when we went to pick up our car from an oil change. #1: The upselling when we just come in for an oil change has gotten beyond ridiculous. If I come in for a $60 oil change, quit quoting me an extra $500-$1000 EVERY time before you've even looked at the car. Just change the oil! #2: When we picked up our car, they had snapped off our keychain remote for the car. They tossed it in the cup holder, broken, and said nothing about it. #3: When we brought the keychain remote in, we were basically greeted with skepticism. As if WE planned to break the keychain and have them fix it. #4: We waited 30 minutes for them to fix the keychain remote. #5: When we headed out to unlock our car. Guess what? THE KEYCHAIN REMOTE DIDN'T WORK. Back into the service department for us AGAIN to waste more of our day... #6: We brought the remote back in and were again met with skepticism as if we were trying to be sneaky, rather than have them fix something THEY broke. TWICE. When we showed it to one of their service guys, he said, "I don't know if it EVER worked." REALLY??? I can afford a keychain remote dude. Trust me. I don't need to try to scam one out of you. Give me a break. He was rude and condescending the entire time. Not impressed. And of course, turns out it was their fault again. The funniest thing about today? We were planning on shopping for a new car! They ruined that by wasting an hour of our time with this nonsense and being so rude. Long story short, we're never bringing our car to Findlay for service again. We've been customers for nearly 15 years, but we are done. Not really the way I expect a company as large as Findlay to treat their customers.
