  • I haven't stopped in here in years, but I was looking for a specific bottle, and the web led me to believe TW carried it. I had trouble finding it, but one of the associated approached me, asking if I needed help. I told and showed her what I was looking for (mind you, a $14 bottle of Cali Zinfandel), and she scanned the shelves. She found its place, but there was no stock. She checked inventory on the computer and found that there should be one case in the store. So up the ladder she goes, searching through all the stacks of heavy boxes. She found it. The vintage she pulled even had a slight label change, which made it more likely to be missed, but that deterred her not. Tenacious! I wanted the bottle, of course, since I made the special trip, but I was preparing to cut my losses. It was a nice turn of events in the end. I left happy and grabbed another, more expensive bottle of Syrah on my way out.
