| - Central was a very pleasant surprise, glad we went. Three of us were at forum shops late fri night and were going to hit Cheesecake factory, but I wanted to try something a little more upscale. I phoned and said we'd be there in 10 min. We were seated right away in a fairly full room in a good table with great people watching. Everything on the late night menu looked good- comfort food. We over ordered and it isn't cheap but all of us were happy. 3 mac n cheeses were great, had a nice crunchy crust and were more than enough - bigger than waiter implied. Spicy hot wings had a bit of crunch, good spice level, perfectly cooked. Goat cheese caesar salads, one with chicken, one plain. were fantastic and maybe the best presented caesar I've had yet. Meat ball burger, served with fries in a cute frier basket, was very good, not too big and could have used a little more sauce but was still delicious and the bun held up well. The winner for the night was the meatloaf. Very delicious. Rich hearty flavor, served with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes. I don't think I've had better. Fries for the table were also done very well. Only real complaint was my Delirium Tremens was served without any head. Service was fine. Our waiter, Evan, was a doll, friendly, polite and really seemed to want to do a good job. It was over $170 for the three of us but we were stuffed and all of us loved it. I plan on returning.
