I recently contracted the cleaning authority southwest to do a one time move-in "deep clean". The customer service upfront was great I promptly received a call from the owner who came out that day to do a walk through. Again great customer service as we did the walk through and he jotted things down. My two biggest concerns for the cleaning were ALL of the kitchen drawers and cabinets completely cleaned and wiped down inside and out. The other being the walls and that I wanted them wiped down and cleaned like I would expect from anyone advertising any sort of "deep clean" move-in/move-out service. I communicated this specifically twice to the owner while in the walk through and he assured me what a great job they were going to do again and again. He also assured me that he would be on site for a final inspection before they left. I was sold. Then the day of cleaning came, the staff was more than friendly and pleasant. However, after returning to check on the house after they had finished I came into a house that had a light cleaning at best. Not a single drawer or cabinet cleaned out or wiped down. Drawers still with dead bugs and bread crumbs in there. Not a single wall wiped down. I was very discouraged and upset I paid good money and trusted they would do the job they claimed they would. I received a voicemail from the cleaners saying "they were done and sorry we couldn't get everything but we tried". My card was promptly charged for the service. I called the next morning and spoke to the owner he claimed he didn't know what more they could do but he would come out that day and clean anything they missed. He came out and began cleaning the kitchen that he assured me would have a final inspection prior to them finishing the day before. On top of all of it as soon as I tried to nicely explain how I was unhappy with the service the customer service was gone and out came an attitude like he couldn't understand what I could possibly see wrong with the job. I showed him some of the walls? His answer, they only lightly wipe them down with like a duster because it's a "liability" to do anything else in case they take off paint. I wasn't made aware of that fact at all in the walk through when we discussed walls. And a simple wet paper towel run over the walls is taking the stuff off with little to no effort. The list could keep going. Outrageous price for the actual job received. I'm not a clean freak and this didn't pass my visual inspection within minutes but it somehow passed the owners final inspection standards? I would be embarrassed if that job was a representation of my company. Don't waste your time or money
