  • My husband went for dinner Friday evening with my parents in NoDa and wanted to grab a drink while waiting for another restaurant. This place was pretty perfect. My dad had been before and recommended it and I'm glad he did. I got the Penicillin cocktail- sweet and refreshing. My mom and husband ordered another craft cocktail (dark cherry rose manhattan I believe) and the bar was out of the specialty bitters, so the waitress offered a few alternatives and both my husband and Mom were satisfied. My dad tried a beer from Wooden Robot he hadn't had before (as always, WR is my fav). We also got on the house popcorn, a cheese tray, and an ice cream cone - because why the heck not. Service was quick and great (guy who brought the tab even brought waters just in case we wanted to sit around a little longer). They knew they were busy but were in no rush to push us out. Definitely recommend this place for a cocktail/beer before or after dinner... or stick around for their food menu because that looked pretty good too!
