This is a delayed review but I just wanted to point out that with the Rio "all suites" it can be very hit or miss. And this visit was a miss. Stopping by for one night while driving through, it started off bad:
The hour+ long wait to check in and the attitude received at the desk as a result was unacceptable.
Then came the room. Ugh. Does maintenance not check anything? Or is it a result of the room cleaning not reporting anything, or even worse, management not giving a damn all together?
The undersides of the small bench seats were slashed open, the mini Kcup maker had no Kcups. That's useful. The door pin in the bathroom was about to fall out. The trash bags were missing. Lamp on the table, broken. And the view from the room was a wonderful view of the low roof.
Update:
So trying to check in. 3 so called employees at the counter "working". The express check in machines are pointless. They tell you to go stand in line. Why? Why do I keep giving the rio a chance. I guess I'm stupid for thinking that management cares at all. More to come-
Do you want to go to the pool and relax in the later afternoon? Do you want to cool down at 7pm, when the sun is no longer burning you to death? Well you're SOL. They close the pool at 7pm. In August. When it's 100 outside. Yeah... that makes perfect sense.
