I believe the city is going to use a portion of the park for an organic community garden.
I am impressed with George, the regular maintenance man at Los Olivos. He takes amazing pride in his work and is happy to know that his work is noticed. The Parks and Recreation needs to recognize his efforts. Today, the park was clean, not one table filled with garbage, homeless drug addicted people hanging around the Ramada table. I think this has been happening less frequently. I've attached a pic of today's clean tables. Let's hope that the city recognizes the need for more homeless intervention. There is a Task Force now so hats off for this intervention. The city needs lots more!
