  • I have three major reasons to love *atomic: 1) Their huge variety of delicious bubble teas which includes some pretty unique flavours and combinations. My personal faves: Coconut and Cream, Passionfruit and Mango. 2) Their appearance on Dragon's Den (go local Calgary business!) and the business model with all the cute *atomic speak. I'm a sucker for branding. 3) The hot guy with dreads at the counter. Who was really nice too. And was conspicuously absent the last time I was in. I really, really hope he still works there, because eye candy + bubble tea = great way to unwind after work. *atomic is more like a cool western coffee shop than some of its more traditional bubble tea brethren. But I like that they try to make the concept unique, because it means a visit there is like an experience. It is a little expensive, though not really for the core.
