  • I don't even know where to begin, Alissa and The Hair Standard were truly my guardian angels yesterday. I had a completely botched highlight from another salon in Las Vegas (the Groupon finally caught up to me) that literally had me in tears; after about an hour of scouring Yelp and various salon websites, I took a deep breath and called The Hair Standard, praying someone was available to end the nightmare that was my hair. Fortunately, as I found out, one of Alissa's clients had cancelled and she had an opening that afternoon. She was patient, beyond understanding, and truly made sure everything was going to be okay; I was worried that there wasn't going to be a good way to disguise the atrocity that was the previous highlights, and she made them disappear. My hair looks like I spent the summer on the beach, with zero brassiness, and the dimension is beautiful. Not only was she personable, and extremely knowledgeable about her job, but she worked absolute magic on my hair. I can't wait to see what she does with it when I go dark this fall!
