  • New year, new coffee shop! For my first taste of black gold in 2017 I decided to finally try Stone Creek's newest outpost right here in Madison. For those of you not familiar, Stone Creek Coffee is a well established local chain from Milwaukee, serving a good compromise between hipster light roast and the more familiar medium house blend that the general public is accustomed to. The modern industrial space is quite large with plenty of seating and lots of natural light, the service friendly and most importantly the coffee satisfying. Although I didn't get a chance to inquire, the learning lab inside might be a game changer for the community as cuppings, classes, and other learning opportunities have been lacking here. Stone Creek, consider yourself added to the weekend caffinating repertoire.
