  • My wife purchased her car from here years ago, before we met, and along with it purchased a maintenance plan where she gets free oil changes up to a certain date. I know how to turn a wrench and have done the maintenance on my own vehicles for years, however she still takes her car here for oil changes simply because she might as well get her money's worth and it's one less car I have to get under just to change the oil. Recently I went with her for an oil change since it was on our way somewhere and I was appalled at the maintenance they tried pushing on her. A simple oil change resulted in them claiming that they inspected her car and it needed over $1,000 worth of maintenance, most of which I had already performed and was completely unnecessary. $70 for wiper blades? How would they even know the car needed them? I replaced them a few months ago with some pretty nice ones, they work great in the rain, how would these guys know they need to be replaced? Or the cabin air filter? It's a complete pain to get to, I guarantee they didn't take the time to even look at it in the amount of time they had her car in the back, and I also replaced it recently, it's not dirty at all. Same with the engine air filters. and PCV valves. Oh, and power steering fluid. $150 to replace it, and that was also done around 12,000 miles ago. Definitely not due. I get the feeling that these guys have a list of what maintenance had been performed on a car by THEM, and click off a list of the stuff that they just guess needs to still be done based upon mileage. Also watching the other customers waiting on their cars and signing off on repair quotes made me think they prey on people like my wife that don't know a spark plug from a dipstick, hoping they will pay them exorbitant prices for basic maintenance items.
