  • I actually left a positive review for this location earlier, but I need to update this because of recent experiences. In a nutshell, I came here because I needed a cleaning, possibly a deep-scale, and up to two fillings. When they examined me, the doctor said I didn't need any fillings, and I only needed a debridement. I scheduled it for the following week. This is the point why this review had to change. When I came in, a different dentist was scheduled to handle my procedures. He started the debridement, and halfway through, he realized that I actually needed a deep-scale cleaning. He also determined that I did need two fillings. (This was something I asserted with the first dentist.) Let me repeat this: halfway through. Not a quick check before starting to ensure that the prior dentist got it right. The result: He finished the top teeth and had me reschedule for a deep-scale. In other words, they couldn't even provide treatment properly. It just so happened that I had an appointment with an orthodontist elsewhere to be re-fitted for braces, an appointment I told the dentist about. He still wanted me to schedule a follow-up appointment for the cleaning. When I got to the orthodontist office, I was initially seen by a dentist who confirmed that I did need a deep-scale and two fillings. Because I wanted to move expeditiously on getting braces, they went ahead and completed my deep-scale so I could come in the nest day for braces. After my appointment, I compared the experience and expertise of the offices and found that Southern was supremely deficient in providing care for me. I changed offices on the spot and haven't looked back. I would NOT suggest this company to anyone looking for conscientious care. They couldn't even properly diagnose me.
