Seems like they changed up the interior since the last time I came here. They have booths now on the left side of the entrance!
If you're a newbie to Omoide, and have a craving for curry late at night, definitely try their ton katsu curry don. The pork cutlets melt in your mouth! A delicious surprise for me as it reminded me of a closed establishment years ago that had a similar dish (however I couldn't find any place that served it anywhere in Vegas for the life of me). Not until stepping into this quaint little joint.
Ton Katsu Curry Don consists of a generous amount of pork cutlets, white rice that consistently doesn't get too sticky or hard in texture, slices of red ginger, and a less than wholesome amount of curry sauce all over. It always comes with a soup and salad, whether you order dine in or to go.
Apparently they have tonkotsu ramen with black garlic oil (but only limited to one specific ramen), which I tried briefly with a few friends however flavorful it may be, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Their late night Japanese beer specials are definitely noteworthy though!
