We tried R & R Barbecue based on Yelp reviews, however when we went in July 2010 we were very disappointed in the quality of the food. My barbecue was "ok" but my wife found a (human) hair in hers. That definitely put a damper on things. The Brunswick stew, an upgraded side, was watery and not worth the trouble. The hushpuppies were very good. Atmosphere was about what you'd expect for a NC BBQ place. Overall, I'd say leave this one to the locals.
