I was a little intrigued when I saw the sign go up on the old Annie's Italian space down the street from the house. OK, I love breakfast, will have to try it. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to chicken/country fried steak and will judge a restaurant based solely on their execution of my favorite dish. I figure that a place with steak in their name had better nail it so I order it and anxiously await. Service time was a bit slow but I'll give it a pass as place was pretty swamped. Plate arrived and presentation was nice with country gravy on the side. I was very pleased with my choice, perfectly cooked with a nice batter and high quality piece of steak. Nothing worse than paying top dollar for some frozen disc of questionable meat from a bulk pack bought at Costco. Wife enjoyed her avocado veggie whatever.. Will be back to try the corned beef hash.
