| - The only reason it's getting the two stars is strictly because of Jameca, the front desk clerk. There were problems with our reservations (not the hotels fault), and she did everything to try to accommodate us. She was helpful, friendly and very giving. The hotel wasn't horrible only because of her. The rooms, well, they are ok to look at. The room we stayed in has a broken toilet paper dispenser and toilet seat was loose. There wasn't a clock in our room. However, the room that my mom and oldest son stayed in did have one, so I guess it's a hit or miss. Their room's light was very dim. My son said there was a dripping sound that the A/C made all night long that made it hard to sleep. Their toilet didn't want to flush. In both rooms, the pull out sofa mattresses weren't very comfortable. Our youngest son put the mattress on the floor so he could sleep. My oldest son said it was "like sleeping on a bed of nails." The "deluxe continental breakfast" offered make your own waffles...that was the highlight. Bagels, mini muffins, yogurt, and dried cereal. Oatmeal is the envelope kind but the hot water isn't hot. They also offer twin mini jimmy dean sausage muffins that you can heat up in the microwave. Apple and orange juice along with regular and decaf coffee. It's not the best breakfast but it's not the worst. It certainly didn't meet my expectations for a hotel that our vacation club offered to us.
Let me just say again, how helpful, friendly and kind Jameca was!!
