| - I was having trouble finding time to resize my new watch. Called around, and this was the only place I could find that opened late on a Saturday (9pm). I was quoted $15 over the phone. These guys got the job done, and if your schedule is hectic, they might be the only choice you've got. I've deducted stars for two reasons.
1- they ended charging me $20 instead of the quoted $15, saying my watch had a more difficult pin and collar system to work with. I didn't feel like arguing over $5, so I paid it. This wasn't some expensive watch, just a Seiko automatic diver.
2-I specifically asked for 2 links to be removed from one side and 1 link to be removed from the other. They got the number of links right, but the sides mixed up. I didn't realize until I left, and didn't feel like going back to argue to have it corrected.
Lastly, judging by their equipment, there's a limit to what kind of service they can perform. Pretty sure they won't be able to regulate automatic movements, or pressure test cases. I'm guessing, but I saw a dremel, so I guess that's how they polish bracelets. Maybe they've got more equipment in the back I couldn't see. But judging by my experience with them, I'll continue going to Anthony's watch repair, for more serious watch work.
