During the exhibit, I was expecting to hear some Celine Dion playing in the background, but it didn't work out that way.
Titanic: The Exhibit was more than what I expected, and was very impressed. When you first enter the gates (not really gates, but ticket taker), you will be provided with a boarding pass to the Titanic. On one side will be a biography of a passenger who boarded the infamous ship. At the end of the exhibit, you will find out whether your person survived.
During the course of the exhibit, you will find much information on the walls about passengers from various walks of life. In addition, various artifacts that were recovered from the wreckage and the difference between 1st class vs. 2nd and 3rd class. It was pretty astounding how much it cost to board the the Titanic. The most amazing part in my opinion is the re-creation of the staircase. It just brings you back all the memories of the movie with Jack and Rose. If you like, you can take a photo in front of it as well! There's a photographer there. The exhibit did a pretty good job with temperature control as well to make it feel like you were in the Artic freeze.
I do agree with another reviewer that somehow it felt kind of wrong that there's a gift shop. I don't know, but I think the boarding pass provided was a pretty cool memento already. No need to make money off of merchandise.
I would highly recommend that you purchase a voucher from "Tix4Tonight" along the Vegas strip for this exhibit. I got mine for $23 bucks instead of the $32 full price. I got through the whole exhibit in about an hour. I actually read pretty much everything. But if you're not the reading type, you can probably get through this pretty quickly.
I do recommend this exhibit if you want something to check out at Vegas. You can leave, and think to yourself..."I'll never let go...'.
