  • Dr. Bashaw not only cares for your pets, she cares for their owners. After a very less than desirable veterinarian appointment with our four fur babies at another clinic in town, Dr. Bashaw and her team turned things around for us. We have two dogs and two cats, one being a young new rescue who went into early heat. The veterinarian we visited previously insisted the cat was not in heat as she "did not even have her incisors yet." In spite of video relaying all the evidence of a cat in heat, she would not back down or even consider the possibility. She did no testing and blamed our young, but neutered male cat mounting her on a possible urinary tract infection of the one thought to be in heat, yet did no follow up on that. Dr. Bashaw listened, watched videos, and then took appropriate clinical steps to determine if our little one of four months had gone into early heat. Furthermore, she did not condescend, but encouraged. She skillfully found out what was going on with our little one and provided solutions for our Alice's comfort as well as ours and the rest of our fur babies while we waited out the heat situation until spaying. You could tell by the way Dr. Bashaw and her tech handled her, they had a true love of animals. After the worst veterinarian experience of our life, we landed in an office where we and our kitten experienced the best visit ever! I know our other three will love Dr. Bashaw...it is clear she loves what she does and she loves animals. She is super intelligent while being extraordinarily caring. The hospital is clean and beautiful and reception polite and efficient. So happy we landed such a great veterinarian's office!
