My family and I have been a patient of this business since 2012. While in the beginning I felt the service was wonderful. Over the period of the past year I feel that the service has become less welcoming and more abrasive. I am no longer comfortable when I come to your office. My family used to love coming now I am hesitant to see what type treatment we will get this time.
The last few times my husband and I have been pressured to get a deep cleaning and until the most recent appointment the procedure was not even explained to myself or him. Then miraculously my husband did not need this anymore and his gums were better. I am not sure what created the change of heart but he was told it was not necessary anymore. The main problem that I have with the constant pressure of deep cleanings, other than the lack of explanation, is that the way it is presented is in a very pushy way. The service is pressured on me to make this appointment and without any talk of the cost to me. This is a very expensive procedure that seems to not cross anyone's mind that it may be a cost I cannot afford. I understand their is a credit card I can apply for, this was mentioned briefly once. I am not interested in opening more credit lines in my name. When I did finally get a price, I had to request a copy of the potential costs where at one point that was provided without asking.
Also my children come to the office for their cleanings, the last time they were in, apparently fluoride was applied. This was done without my consent or knowledge. I find this very upsetting that no one found it necessary to ask me about this cost or if I even wanted it applied.
