rev:text	Alli is great! I needed to find a new hairdresser when my current one announced she would be closing her business. I wanted to find someone who could do wild and fun things with color and I am so glad I found Alli! She's always up for an experiment and offers good suggestions - so far all of the experiments have all turned out amazing. We've done a few different tones of purple and even purple ombre panels. A couple of times the colors have faded pretty quickly - it's not permanent color and we're working with hair that used to be dyed black - and she has offered quick and affordable color touch-ups on short notice. I know that making frequent changes with colors like this - I'm capricious about my hair, what can I say? - can require some extra maintenance, and Alli accommodates this need in ways that fit with my schedule and my budget. I couldn't ask for a better stylist! The salon in general is great - there's always really fun music playing, and everyone is super friendly. There's a cute little refreshment station with water and coffee (and maybe beer?) available - going there feels treating myself to a low-key pampering where I am well taken care of, without the trappings of a place that's all snobby and stuffy. The salon sells a full line of Paul Mitchell products, but no one has EVER pushed anything on me - they're just available if you need them, otherwise there's no hard sell. I'd recommend Shampoo Ink as a fun, hip, low-key place to get your hair done, especially if you're looking to do new, fun things with your hair.
