  • ***update*** Please read the joke of a comment from the owner of this salon. This comment was being written over 6 months later by them. The name on this profile is an alias so I'd really love to know how they know ever so much detail of a situation where they don't know my name. I would also love to know how the situation is even remembered let alone enough to tell me about it. I love the mark of "she is a very popular highly talented stylist but did not feel comfortable doing your hair." Is she really talented then? This salon is a hack and a half. I found someone who could do my "long list of high demands" and I couldn't be happier. My list was not demanding -- I wanted to start a slow process of going blonde. Was I the first client to ever ask this of their salon?? Highly doubt that. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! You can tell by their crap comment back to me and not even trying to be nice that they don't even care about their service. Anyone who goes, I wish you and your hair luck! I also am apparently a lair because "Lindsey doesn't work Monday's and there is no reason I'd be booked with her" right?? Hmm so which is it?? Interesting. And what harm to others does she speak of?? Was I asking for harm? Ps. I have left only 5 one star reviews and that's bc I like to warn people of the worst services out there as it's part of the reason why we all read reviews isn't it? I would have loved to have the opportunity to try and come here but they screwed me and left a bad taste in my mouth. Awful service leads to never trusting this place. I called a few weeks ago to make a VERY specific appointment. High demands. I have long fragile dark hair that I want to lighten back to blonde. I was searching for a place that would use the product I wanted and know exactly how to proceed on this matter for my hair. I didn't want a bad fried loss of hair job. I just moved here so I know and trust NO one here! I found this place based on the atmosphere and what seem like bomb reviews here. Anyways, called and told the girl exactly what I wanted and asked her to help place me with who would be best at this task. I saw the information on their site of their stylists and all seemed great so any would be ok it seemed, having trust in the receptionist or whoever to place me (since they know them and their specialties better than I). Set an appointment for a few weeks out with Lindsey on a Monday. Or so I thought. I got my confirmation call the Friday prior and I was told I must call back to confirm due to the nature of my appointment. So I did, everything was set! I couldn't wait! That night, I got a text from the salon telling me my appointment had been moved to another stylist. Gavin. I don't know who the hell that is, they're not on the site (so I guess a very new/basic stylist). I called back Saturday to see what the hell was going on. The girl first asked if I could hold, set the phone down and forgot about me (I could hear her..) so I called back. Surprise, she was available. I told her about my text etc. She told me Taylor had something come up so I needed to be moved. First I told her I wasn't ok with them just moving it instead of asking me, and 2nd, I was to be with Lindsey? I said I had a very specific conversation and that's who I was told I'd be with. She told me there's no way because she never works Monday's, and told me the next available for Taylor was 2 weeks later. (You had to bump me off and then she can't even see me for 2 weeks?!). I told her I had no idea who Taylor was or anything, and definitely not Gavin, but I was told I would have Lindsey as I had specifics I was looking for. She again said she has no idea who would tell me that because she never works Monday's. I told her to just cancel the appointment. She asked if I wanted to be contacted when Taylor was available and I said absolutely not and hung up. The girl basically called me a liar when it's their salon who made the mistake. I'm not stupid, I know I was originally told I'd be with Lindsey. Whether or not she works Monday's, I don't know, but this is what I was told. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, she told me I was wrong. Then to top off the fact they were just going to move my appointment to some random guy?! I've never had that. They obviously moved me around all over the place and gave two sh*%s about my appointment. Back home, anytime my girl couldn't be available (like 2x) I got a call to reschedule with her ASAP, and not just move me to someone else without consulting with me. Overall bad taste in how they handle things. Maybe if I had the right person and could have done my appointment, it may have been a great service but now I'll never know. Horrible girls at the front desk as both of them clearly had issues in their own way. And no one tried to help me or rectify the errors or anything. Great job management.
