At first glance it seems that Turbo Lounge is where Asian club kids come to get their douche-chill on before a night out at the local karaoke bars as the clientele are youngish 19-20 year olds who were rather loud & obnoxious, but don't let that deter you as their Korean munchies and apps like the Kimchi Pancake is effing amazing!!!
My companions took to the collegiate atmosphere and decide to order the monstrous beer tower which is like a mini beer keg, and in the wrong hands could spell inebriation meltdown, thankfully my Yelp mates are a well seasoned (translation: older?) bunch and know how to handle their beverages.
Our server was super cute & sweet and for some reason her Abogee ( that's Korean speak for grandpa) was hanging around at the bar, maybe he's there for intimidation, but something tells me his Tae Kwon Do skillz may be outdated...
Being that we Koreans are ever enterprising, in a really random turn there is a little corner by the bar that sells sunglasses for $15 dollars(???) if you somehow want to get your Corey Hart on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56HSPQHSqEE
All-in-all Turbo is great place to get the pre-partying buzz on or to chill-out after dinner, sunglasses optional of course!
